Time Capsule

My grandfather built this house in 1920, on land in upstate New York that had been in his family since the late 1700's. It's a magical place.

Mah Jongg in the library with daughter G and grandson L. This is the set that my mother and her sisters would have used in the twenties, when it was such a fad. We have to consult the rule book!


Soccer on the front lawn. C and L help Z make cupcakes.


And L drives the tractor ALL BY HIMSELF.

It's always hard to come back down to earth after this.
