A favorite blogger writes: "What has happened to all the women who are done with child-rearing? Young voices permeate the blogosphere." What do sixty-something women do with their lives, especially if they do not have full-time jobs? We're here to find that out.

Life Clock
How about this "life clock" which makes one sweep of the "year hand" every eighty-four years? You get to see how much time you have left - if you're lucky. An interesting perspective, for sure. How did you feel when you were 21, or 42? Young, or old? From Boing-Boing.
You're young when you either don't think about your age at all or wish you were older. When you start thinking about your age, you're beginning to be old.
I'm sixty-five. I still live in the same suburban NJ house where I raised my three daughters. They wonder what I do all day. Now they will be able to find out, and so will I.

That is way too depressing to contemplate! I think I hate that clock.
I agree--depressing!

I think the sweep should be in lesser quantities. Maybe every five years so you can contemplate life and its passing.
